The Russian Community Centre, located in Wooloongaba, Queensland, is the main central facility for the vast Australian-Russian population living in Brisbane. It is home to many specialty Russian clubs that help promote the Russian culture and traditions in Australia. The centre also has a number of its halls available for hire to the general public.

Current news of QRCC

It is with regret the QRCC has been advised that Maslenitsa that was to be held on
Saturday 01 March at the QRCC has been cancelled. All money for tickets sold will be
refunded in full.
The upside to this is that our raffle and prizes have increased substantially for the Family QRCC
sponsored Maslenitsa on 15th March 2014 at 2pm. We have received amazing prizes so don't
forget to dress up both parents and children, get those Maslenitsa paintings in to QRCC prior to Friday evening of the 14th March (Don't forget to put your name and age on them) Tickets are selling fast and the price for the family is cheaper then a snack at McDonald's.

QRCC thanks Alla Ekzarkho for her help and co-operation with solving the issue with souvenirs, sold by QRCC few years ago.

The committee has recently been requested to supply the total volunteer hours (In kind) we have donated to the QRCC since taking office.
Wayne 874 hours, Lena Proskurina 265 hours, Lena Manou 295 hours, Gabe Mustgo 88 hours, Ananoly Manouilenko 58 and Elena Sortakova 39 (Considering the last four have full-time jobs) I would like to add a gratitude of thanks to my committee.

We are happy to welcome back Lampada to the QRCC on the 23rd February 2014 and hopefully we can have future events of Lamapada broadcast over Russian Radio.

Our hall is now booked out in the evenings from Monday to Thursday under contract and this will increase our revenue substantially into the next twelve months. We regret that we had to remove Samosvety from Thursday nights but we have given them many options to choose from and still at no cost to them.
