The Russian Community Centre, located in Wooloongaba, Queensland, is the main central facility for the vast Australian-Russian population living in Brisbane. It is home to many specialty Russian clubs that help promote the Russian culture and traditions in Australia. The centre also has a number of its halls available for hire to the general public.

Art exhibition is finished, ahead is the Old New Year Ball!

In December this year, the editorial group of "Unification" newspaper was invited to a meeting at Queensland Russian Community Centre. This meeting was friendly and informal, the editor of the newspaper Vladimir Kuzmin talked about history and day-to-day running of the newspaper. He showed keen interest in the work of QRCC and the Russian community in Brisbane. The invitees from the community who took part in the discussion were: Elena Pakhomova, the President of QRCC, Elena Ilina Vice-President of QRCC, Elena Gosse, the former President of QRCC, Ludmila Larkina, the poet and the writer for the Unification newspaper, Alla Viletz from Gold Coast who also writes for the newspaper, Vlad Kosse and Alla Ekzarkho from Russian radio and on behalf of Samotzvety choir, Con Drozdovskii and other members of the community. Father Gabriel Makarov of St Nicholas Church was also present. All up 17 people.
