The Russian Community Centre, located in Wooloongaba, Queensland, is the main central facility for the vast Australian-Russian population living in Brisbane. It is home to many specialty Russian clubs that help promote the Russian culture and traditions in Australia. The centre also has a number of its halls available for hire to the general public.

Book fair at the QRCC on 20 March

Book fair at the QRCC on Sunday 20 March from 11am – 2pm at 19 Lotus St., Woolloongabba.

On sale:

Books in Russian and English from the private library of Professor Boris Christa, the inaugural Chair of Russian, University of Queensland.

Books from other private libraries will be available.

List of authors:

Some rare books (“White Russian Emigrants in China”, “Dal’ Dictionary” 4 volumes etc.) will be auctioned.

All sale proceeds will go to The Pushkin Foundation to support Russian language studies.
